Creatures sense food gradients through their real chemosensory neurons and crawl on segmented bodies: the source names its body-wall muscles by position (dBWML1–24, head to tail), so every segment bends under the muscles that exist at that position in the real animal. They eat, breed, and die for real. The engine is integer-only Rust: same history, same hash — always, for everyone. Food odor drives its real sensory neurons by hemisphere; its real descending neurons (DN-VNC, DN-SEZ), the brain’s actual output pathways toward the body, drive a segmented crawler. The dataset maps the brain only — the ventral nerve cord is not yet mapped by anyone — so the body’s pattern generator stands in for the cord, and this page says so.
